The #Contact And #Connection

*The Contact And Connection*

In New York, big journalists were interviewing a monk.

Journalist- Sir, in your last lecture Contact  and connection.

But gave a speech but it was very confusing. Can you explain it?

The monk smiled and started asking only a few different reporters.

"You're from New York?"

Journalist: "Yeah..."

Sannyasi: "Who is in your house?"

The journalist felt that the monk was trying to avoid his question as his question was too personal and different from the answer to his question.

Still the journalist said: "My mother is no more, father is there and there are 3 brothers and one sister, all are married"

The monk asked with a smile on his face:

 "You talk to your father?"

Anger was visible on the face of the journalist.

The monk asked, "When was the last time you spoke to your father?"

Pressing his anger, the journalist replied: "Maybe a month ago".

The monk asked: "Do you often meet brothers and sisters? When did you all finally meet as a family?"

The journalist lost his sweat on this question whether I am taking an interview or this monk?

It felt as if the monk was interviewing a journalist?

The journalist sighed and said: "2 years ago on Christmas".

The monk asked: "How long have you all been together?"

Wiping tears from his eyes, the journalist said- "3 days..."

Sadhu: "How much time did you brothers and sisters spend sitting very close to your father?

The journalist looked shocked and embarrassed and started writing something on a piece of paper...

The monk asked: "Did you have breakfast, lunch or dinner with your father?

Have you asked your father how he is?

How is his time passing after his mother's death?

Tears welled up in the eyes of the journalist.

The monk held the journalist's hand and said: "Don't be embarrassed, upset or sad.

I'm sorry if I hurt you unintentionally,

But this is the answer to your question. "Contacts and Connections"

You are only in touch with your father *(contact)*

But you have no ' *connection'* (connection) with them.

You are not connected to it.

You are in touch with your father, not connected

*connection* is always soul to soul, heart to heart

sitting together, sharing food and caring for each other, touching, shaking hands, making eye contact, spending some time together

You are in touch with your father, brother and sisters *('contact')* but you have no 'connection' *(connection)*".

The journalist wiped his eyes and said: "Thank you for teaching me a good and unforgettable lesson".

It was New York then, but today it has become a reality of India too.

Everyone has thousands of contacts at home and in society but there is no connection.

No discussion.

Every man is lost in his fake world.

We should not only keep "connected" but also keep "connected". We should take care of all our loved ones, share their joys and sorrows and spend time together.

That sage was none other than

 "Swami Vivekananda".
